On May 17, 2025, Caritas Dance School proudly staged its annual dance performance, “Wicked: The Shiz Rescue,” a spectacular show that captivated the audience from beginning to end. The performance brought together dancers of all ages, showcasing their growth, creativity, and teamwork in a production filled with imagination and heart.
A Story of Friendship and Courage
Set in the world of Oz, Wicked: The Shiz Rescue tells a powerful story about courage, loyalty, and the strength of friendship. Through original choreography and expressive performances, the dancers transported audiences to Shiz University — where adventure, humor, and emotion unfolded on stage.
From the enchanting movements of our young ballet & hip-hop students to the energetic contemporary numbers performed by our senior dancers, every scene reflected months of dedication and artistic collaboration.
A Remarkable Collaboration
This year’s success was made even more special through the wonderful collaboration with Balletomane dancers and MD2 (Men Dance 2). Their artistry and professionalism elevated the entire production, creating a seamless fusion of styles and storytelling. Together, our performers brought an unforgettable experience that truly celebrated the beauty of dance.
